Hello! The Family Food Study is looking for healthy mothers or primary female caregivers with children between the ages 8 and 10 years old to participate in our study at the University of Michigan, through the School of Public Health. The purpose of this study examines how mothers influence their children’s eating and thinking.

The study has two parts: 1) a study visit now, 2) a follow-up visit 12 months later. During each 2-hour visit, you and your child will play some computer games and answer some questionnaires with the study staff, and get your height and weights measured. The study can be done at your home.
To be eligible for this study:
** Child must be between ages of 8 and 10 years old
** No prior health concerns for you or your child about participating in two study visits over the course of one year
** Eligibility may further be based on a household income test.
You will be paid up to $80 for your participation throughout the study. If you have more than one child between the ages of 8 and 10 years old, they are all able to participate.
